Other partners listed on our about page: SmartWay, Jets.com (air and expedited when a truck will not make it), Priority1 for LTL overflow, MacroPoint GPS, and Schneider Intermodal. Use them as options, not as a slogan.
Geography is US and Canada. Midwest and West Coast are the regions we work most. Cross-border truckload needs the usual commercial docs. Send them with the quote if you have them. Reach us by phone or email.
Cathy, Logistics Coordinator at RPP Containers, wrote: "Thank you for making my job a little easier. Very glad that we've been able to establish a good relationship and grateful for your excellent service. You've been a great resource for me as well as others at RPP." Truckload is where that looks like a covered truck, a ping on GPS, and a person who already knows the receiver's hours.
HOW TO GET AN FTL QUOTE
Email cmaciag@freight-tec.com or call 513-259-3505. Include pickup and delivery city and state or province, equipment (dry van, reefer, or other), weight, pallets or pieces, commodity, pickup date, delivery appointment if any, and whether the freight can be co-loaded. If it cannot, say exclusive use.
If the load might fit partial truckload or LTL, we will say so and price it. If you need a truck, we will cover a truck.
FAQs
Q1. When should I book a full truckload instead of LTL or PTL?
Book FTL when the trailer is mostly full, the freight cannot be co-loaded, or the appointment cannot take extra stops. If you are in the 6 to 18 pallet range, ask us to price partial truckload next to a truck.
Q2. Is Xavier Logistics a carrier?
No. Xavier Logistics LLC is a freight broker. We book motor carriers as an agent of Freight Tec Management Group Inc (MC-147619, USDOT 179548). The carrier hauls the freight. We book it, track it, and stay on the file.
Q3. Do you cover dry van and reefer truckload?
Yes. Connor Maciag handles dry van, partials, and expedited. Nick Cox handles reefer. We quote the US and Canada, with the strongest coverage in the Midwest and on the West Coast.
Q4. How do I get a full truckload quote?
Email cmaciag@freight-tec.com or call 513-259-3505 with origin, destination, equipment type, weight, pallets, commodity, pickup date, and appointment rules. Say if the load requires exclusive use.
Full Truckload Freight, Booked and Tracked
Full truckload (FTL) means your freight has the trailer. No co-load, no LTL terminal network, no sharing cube with another shipper. You are paying for exclusive use of the equipment from pickup to delivery. That is the right product when the trailer is mostly full, when the freight cannot be mixed, or when the appointment cannot absorb extra stops.
Xavier Logistics is a freight broker, not an asset carrier. We don't own a fleet. Connor Maciag founded the company in 2022. We book truckload as an agent of Freight Tec Management Group Inc (MC-147619, USDOT 179548). Connor covers dry van, partials, and expedited. Nick Cox, Director of Operations, is the reefer specialist, with more than 20 years in transportation management. Sibel Demiralp handles order entry, tracing, and carrier follow-up. We quote the United States and Canada, with the strongest coverage in the Midwest and on the West Coast.
WHEN YOU SHOULD BOOK A FULL TRUCK
Book FTL when any of these are true:
• Pallet count, weight, or cube fills most of a 53-foot trailer
The freight cannot be co-loaded (odor, contamination risk, high value, exclusive-use requirement)
• The receiver's appointment will not survive extra stops
• You need a seal, a dedicated trailer, or a drop
• LTL or partial quotes are already within range of a cheap truck
Use LTL freight when you have a few pallets, the product can take terminal handling, and service days are acceptable. Use partial truckload or a box truck when you are in the middle: too much cube or weight for a sane LTL rate, not enough to justify the whole trailer. A common miss is booking FTL for 10 pallets out of habit. Sometimes that is correct. Sometimes a partial saves money and still keeps the touch count low.
We will price the other modes on the same specs when the load sits near a breakpoint. That is normal brokerage work, not an upsell. For how partials compare, see What Is PTL Shipping? A Complete Guide to Partial Truckload Freight.
For when LTL still wins, see Less Than Truckload (LTL) Transportation: A Comprehensive Guide to Saving Money.
WHAT A TRUCKLOAD MOVE LOOKS LIKE WITH A BROKER
You send origin, destination, equipment type, weight, pallet or piece count, commodity, pickup date, and delivery appointment rules. We cover the load with a motor carrier, confirm pickup, and send tracking. MacroPoint GPS is the tracking tool named on our about page. You get location without chasing the driver. Sibel traces. If the truck is late to the dock or the receiver pushes the window, you get a call from us, not a voicemail from dispatch after the fact. Support is 24/7.
Dry van is the default for most FTL. Reefer goes through Nick when temperature is in play. Expedited and team service are available when transit cannot wait on a solo driver's hours. Intermodal is on the table for lanes where rail plus truck makes sense on cost or capacity. Schneider Intermodal is a named partner. We will not push intermodal onto a load that needs a tight over-the-road appointment.
We are not the carrier on the bill of lading. The motor carrier hauls the freight. We are the broker that selected them, booked them, and stays on the file. That distinction matters for claims, for insurance, and for who you call at 2 a.m.
COVERAGE, PARTNERS, AND GEOGRAPHY
Cargo coverage is listed on our shippers page at $100k, with extra available for high-value freight. If the load is worth more than that, say so before we book. Ask us about cargo coverage on every high-value truck. Do not assume the carrier's policy plus ours automatically matches your invoice value.
